Steamed Clams With Bacon And Beer

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 slices bacon, cut into pieces
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 lbs steamer clams
- 1 bottle beer
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon over medium heat, in a medium sized pot about 4 minutes.
- 2 add in onion, and continue until bacon is brown, and onion is tender, about another 4 minutes.
- 3 add in clams, and beer.
- 4 cover and steam clams until they pop open, about 7 minutes.
- 5 throw away any clams that do not open.
- 6 stir together and serve.
