Ga Kho (ginger Chicken)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon thick soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 onion, cubed
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil and fry ginger, garlic and shallot until brown.
  • 2 add chicken and stir fry for 1 minute, then add all ingredients.
  • 3 cook for 8 minutes, stirring often until sauce thickens.
