New Zealand Steamed Mussels

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 kg mussels, with shells
  • 1 cup wine
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons mixed herbs
  • 100 ml cream

Recipe

  • 1 steam mussels in all ingredients, but cream, under cover until opened.
  • 2 once opened remove mussels and pour in cream in the "mussel stock".
  • 3 heat and pour over mussels.
