Neely's Memphis Style Catfish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • salt, to taste
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • peanut oil, for frying
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup creole mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Recipe

  • 1 fish:.
  • 2 preheat a deep -fryer to 375 degrees f.
  • 3 mix the cornmeal, paprika and cayenne in a large bowl. in a separate bowl, add the buttermilk and the hot sauce.
