Poseidon's Scallops

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 1 lb scallops (fresh, ocean scallops only!)
- 1 lime
- 5 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons dark sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons tamari, shoyu or 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- gingerroot
Recipe
- 1 chop ginger and garlic coarsely.
- 2 heat a cast iron skillet.
- 3 add sesame oil.
- 4 let the oil heat and then add garlic and ginger.
- 5 once the garlic had caramelized, add scallops.
- 6 sprinkle with tamari and cook for 5 minutes.
- 7 squeeze a whole lime into the skillet and cook for one more minute.
- 8 serve immediately.
- 9 it's very important not to overcook the scallops!
