Spicy Dried Anchovy Fillet With Potato

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 500 g dried anchovies (anchovy fillet)
  • 2 large boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 dried red chilies (optional)
  • 1 dried bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon asafetida powder
  • spring onion
  • fresh coriander leaves
  • table salt (according to taste)
  • 1/2 cumin powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seed
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seed
  • 1 tablespoon garlic or 1 tablespoon ginger paste

  • 2 add 2 table spoon oil in a pan.
  • 3 add bay leave and dried red chilly.
  • 4 add cumin seeds.
  • 5 add turmeric, cumin, coriander and garam masala.
  • 6 add dried fish.
  • 7 stir for couple of minutes.
  • 8 add onion.
  • 9 cook for 2 minutes.
  • 10 add chopped boiled potatoes.
  • 11 stir and cook for another minute.
  • 12 add asafetida.
  • 13 add chilly powder.
  • 14 stir and cook for another minutes.
