Lemon Sauce (for Chicken Or Fish)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 red pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube (or 1 tsp dry granules or 2 tsp liquid concentrate)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine lemon juice, sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, bouillon cube, water, salt and pepper in a small sauce pan.
  • 2 cook and stir over low heat until sauces comes to a boil and becomes thick.
  • 3 add red pepper and green onions.
  • 4 mix well and pour over cooked chicken or fish.
