Spicy Fried Ginger Beef

Total Time: 26 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb lean beef, top round or 1 lb sirloin, sliced and cut into 1/2 by 2 inch strips
  • 3 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 4 medium garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 4 green serrano chilies, seeded and slivered
  • 3 green onions, cut diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 fresh ginger, 2 inch piece o julienned
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander

Recipe

  • 1 pat meat dry, heat oil in wok over medium high heat.
  • 2 add garlic and stirfry until lightly golden.
  • 3 add chilis and stirfry green onion and ginger for 1 minute.
  • 4 add beef and stirfry just until browned, 1 minute.
  • 5 blend in fish sauce, lime juice and sugar,.
  • 6 sprinkle with coriander and serve immediately.
