Oyster Parmesan

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 1 pint oyster, with liquid, drained reserving liquid (i cut mine in half)
  • 1 1/4 cups seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 preheat over 350 degrees.
  • 2 saute onions and garlic in olive oil until slightly brown.
  • 3 add drained oysters and cayenne pepper.
  • 4 cook until edges curl.
  • 5 remove from heat; stir in breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, oyster liquid and bacon. mix well. mixture should be very moist (like stuffing). if too dry, add additional water. top with additional breadcrumbs and cheese.
  • 6 spoon into individual greased ramekins or custard cups.
  • 7 bake for 30 minutes.
