Oyster Stew

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 pint oyster, with liquid
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup light cream, scalded
  • 3 cups milk, scalded
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 simmer oysters in butter and oyster liquid until edges curl.
  • 2 add cream and milk.
  • 3 heat to boiling, season with paprika, salt and pepper.
  • 4 serve at once.
