Scalloped Oysters

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 10 ounces soda crackers or 10 ounces soup crackers or 10 ounces oyster crackers
- 16 ounces oysters, drained
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup cold milk
Recipe
- 1 in a 2 quart baking dish, put a layer of coarsely crushed crackers.
- 2 then add a layer of oysters.
- 3 salt and pepper to taste.
- 4 top with a layer of crushed crackers.
- 5 dot the top layer with butter.
- 6 pour cold milk on top.
- 7 make sure oysters aren't at the edge of the dish and loosen crackers from the side of the dish.
- 8 bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
