Scalloped Oysters

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 10 ounces soda crackers or 10 ounces soup crackers or 10 ounces oyster crackers
  • 16 ounces oysters, drained
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup cold milk

Recipe

  • 1 in a 2 quart baking dish, put a layer of coarsely crushed crackers.
  • 2 then add a layer of oysters.
  • 3 salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4 top with a layer of crushed crackers.
  • 5 dot the top layer with butter.
  • 6 pour cold milk on top.
  • 7 make sure oysters aren't at the edge of the dish and loosen crackers from the side of the dish.
  • 8 bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
