Crustless, Broccoli, Tuna Quiche

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 (900 g) packet frozen broccoli
- 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup grated yellow cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 can tuna, drained and flaked (either oil in water - whatever one prefers)
Recipe
- 1 cook broccoli in slightly salted water until tender.
- 2 rinse under cold water and drain well.
- 3 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 4 melt butter in a medium size pot.
- 5 add flour stirring until combined.
- 6 slowly add milk and continue stirring until sauce has thickened.
- 7 at this point, add salt, cheese, lemon juice and mix until well combined.
- 8 remove pot from heat and add broccoli and tuna.
- 9 mix well, pour into a pyrex or glass baking dish.
- 10 bake covered for 35 minutes.
- 11 remove cover and continue baking for a further 10-20 minutes until nice and bubbly.
