Oyster Puffs

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 pint standard oyster, drained
  • 3/4 cup pancake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 comine flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  • 2 stir in milk to make batter.
  • 3 add drained oysters and coat thoroughly.
  • 4 fill fry pan with oil to depth of 1-1 1/2 inches.
  • 5 remove oysters with fork and drop into hot oil.
  • 6 fry on bothg sides to golden brown.
