Ingredients
- 1 pint standard oyster, drained
- 3/4 cup pancake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- oil (for frying)
Recipe
- 1 comine flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
- 2 stir in milk to make batter.
- 3 add drained oysters and coat thoroughly.
- 4 fill fry pan with oil to depth of 1-1 1/2 inches.
- 5 remove oysters with fork and drop into hot oil.
- 6 fry on bothg sides to golden brown.
