Oyster Stuffed Mushroom Caps

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 24 large mushroom caps, cleaned and stems removed
  • 1/2 lb fresh oyster, , chopped quite fine (, or use the ones in a jar)
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons mixed herbs
  • parsley
  • basil
  • rosemary
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tablespoons wine
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese or 1/3 cup swiss cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 roll the chopped oysters in the bread crumbs.
  • 2 melt butter and add minced garlic.
  • 3 season with salt, pepper& herbs.
  • 4 fry the oysters in the butter mixture.
  • 5 fill the mushroom caps.
  • 6 place caps in a baking dish, sprinkle with any remaining butter from frypan and the wine.
  • 7 sprinkle the cheese over the caps.
  • 8 cover& bake 350f for 15 minutes.
  • 9 uncover& broil for 1-2 minutes.
