Salmon Loaf----or Cakes

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can salmon
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs (scant)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 green pepper (finely chopped (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 soak the breadcrumbs in the milk for a short time.
  • 2 mix all the rest of the ingredients well.
  • 3 form into a loaf, put in a loaf pan, or make patties and fry in a little butter.
  • 4 bake 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
