Salmon Loaf With Cucumber Chile Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (12 1/2 ounce) can salmon, packed in water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup cracker crumb
  • 3/4 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon crab cake seasoning (optional)
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green chili peppers
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 -salmonloaf-.
  • 2 drain and flake the salmon and put in a medium-size mixing bowl.
  • 3 mix in the rest of the ingredients and pour into a lightly-greased loaf pan.
  • 4 bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour or until done.
  • 5 serve hot with the cucumber chile sauce.
  • 6 -cucumberchile sauce-.
  • 7 peel and finely chop the cucumber.
  • 8 mix with remaining ingredients.
  • 9 serve over salmon loaf.
