Scallops With Balsamic Vinegar And Basil

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 12 ounces bay scallops
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in medium saucepan over high heat.
  • 2 add shallot and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until softened, about 2 minutes.
  • 3 add scallops and basil; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  • 4 add vinegar and heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes.
  • 5 season with salt and pepper. serve hot.
