Onions In Herbs And Wine

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4 yellow onions, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 cup dry wine
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat a large frying pan and add the oil and garlic, along with the onions.
- 2 sauté until the just begin to brown. add the herbs and the wine and simmer until the onions are very tender, about 10 minutes.
- 3 season to taste with salt and pepper. serve with meats or fish.
