Onions In Herbs And Wine

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 yellow onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat a large frying pan and add the oil and garlic, along with the onions.
  • 2 sauté until the just begin to brown. add the herbs and the wine and simmer until the onions are very tender, about 10 minutes.
  • 3 season to taste with salt and pepper. serve with meats or fish.
