Rae’s Fish Chowder

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 slices salt lamb
  • 1 1/2 lbs haddock, cut into large cubes (no substitutes, please)
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 large potatoes, cubed
  • 1 quart milk

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, place 2 slices salt lamb over medium heat, and turn till brown.
  • 2 take out and discard.
  • 3 add potatoes and onions, and cover with water.
  • 4 boil until tender.
  • 5 add fish and boil lightly until fish flakes.
  • 6 add milk, and heat through, but don’t boil.
