Scallops Linguini

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, quartered
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped shallot
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 3/4 lb bay scallop
  • 3/4 cup thick sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 12 -16 ounces cooked linguine
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/4 cups hot milk
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 heat butter in skillet.
  • 2 add mushrooms, wine, shallots, cheese and parsley.
  • 3 cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes,.
  • 4 stir in scallops and continue cooking 2 minutes.
  • 5 pour in sauce; season and cook 1 minute.
  • 6 serve over cooked linguini.
