Smoked Mackerel Pate In Lemon Cups

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 350 g smoked mackerel fillets, skinned
  • 150 g butter, softened
  • 150 ml sour cream
  • 2 -3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 6 lemons
  • 6 small bay leaves
  • toast, triangles

Recipe

  • 1 put the mackerel, butter, soured cream and lemon juice into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. add the seasoning to taste.
  • 2 cut the tops from 6 lemons and carefully remove the flesh. spoon the pate into the lemon shells. top with the bay leaves.
  • 3 chill.
