Steamed Prawns

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs of catty prawns (medium to big size)
  • 2 smashed garlic cloves
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 8 spring onions (6 shredded, 2 cut into shape of flower)
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon wine
  • pepper
  • sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons water

Recipe

  • 1 - clean prawns, slice horizontally.
  • 2 - heat up oil, deep fry smashed garlic, add diced red pepper and seasonings. stir well.
  • 3 - spread shredded spring onion on plate and place prawns on top. pour deep-fried smashed garlic and the seasoning on the prawns. steam over high heat for 4 minutes.
  • 4 - heat sauce ingredients and pour on prawns. garnish with flower-shaped spring onions.
