Honey Broiled Scallops

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/8 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 lbs sea scallops, thawed
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 combine lime juice, oil, honey, soy sauce and ginger. add scallops and.
  • 2 toss to coat. cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  • 3 preheat broiler. remove scallops from marinade (save marinade), thread on 8 skewers and place in shallow baking pan.
  • 4 broil 4-6 inches from heat 4-5 minutes. turn, baste with marinade and cook 4-5 minutes longer. roll in sesame seeds to evenly coat.
