Honey Broiled Scallops

- 3/8 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 lbs sea scallops, thawed
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds (optional)

- 1 combine lime juice, oil, honey, soy sauce and ginger. add scallops and.
- 2 toss to coat. cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
- 3 preheat broiler. remove scallops from marinade (save marinade), thread on 8 skewers and place in shallow baking pan.
- 4 broil 4-6 inches from heat 4-5 minutes. turn, baste with marinade and cook 4-5 minutes longer. roll in sesame seeds to evenly coat.
