Southeast Asian Fish Rolls

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 24 ounces fish fillets (flounder or sole)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated lime zest

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 rinse the fish fillets, pat dry and set them aside.
  • 3 in a medium bowl, mix together the lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, basil, ginger, cilantro and lime zest.
  • 4 lay the fillets, skin side up, on a cutting board or counter and spoon 1/8 of the filling onto one end of each fillet.
  • 5 roll up each fillet and place rolls close together in a baking dish.
  • 6 cover tightly with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
