Mom's Broiled Halibut

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 -3 lbs halibut
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt, to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 cut halibut in to 6 equal pieces, rinse, and pat dry.
- 2 combine oil, garlic powder, and salt.
- 3 put fish in a dish or pan, pour oil mixture over fish, and let sit 10 minutes.
- 4 flip fish and let sit 10 mins more.
- 5 set oven to broil.
- 6 roll each piece of fish in cheese then bread crumbs and place in 9x13 glass baking dish or on an insulated baking pan.
- 7 broil 7-10 mins taking care to brown (rather than burn) the bread crumbs.
- 8 serve immediately.
