Scottish Smoked Salmon Paté

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 ounces butter
  • 7 ounces smoked salmon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 place salmon, butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, worcestershire and red pepper flakes if used in a bowl.
  • 2 blend until you will get a smooth paste.
  • 3 add salt and pepper to taste, blend shortly.
  • 4 in another bowl beat the cream to stiff peaks.
  • 5 fold cream into the salmon paste and spoon in a nice bowl.
  • 6 top with some red pepper flakes if desired.
  • 7 chill for at least 2 hours until serving.
