Seafood Corn Chowder

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 ounces butter or 6 ounces margarine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb crawfish or 1 lb seafood
  • 2 cups half-and-half cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans creamed corn
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) cream of potato soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
  • frank's red hot sauce
  • seasoning salt
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella-provolone cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup shallot

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter over low heat.
  • 2 add flour, blend together.
  • 3 add onions. saute until wilted.
  • 4 add remaining ingredients, and cook on medium heat for 40 minutes.
  • 5 stirring every so often.
