Seafood Corn Chowder

Ingredients

- 6 ounces butter or 6 ounces margarine
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 lb crawfish or 1 lb seafood
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 2 cups milk
- 2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans creamed corn
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) cream of potato soup
- 1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
- frank's red hot sauce
- seasoning salt
- 1/4 cup mozzarella-provolone cheese blend
- 1/4 cup shallot
Recipe
- 1 melt butter over low heat.
- 2 add flour, blend together.
- 3 add onions. saute until wilted.
- 4 add remaining ingredients, and cook on medium heat for 40 minutes.
- 5 stirring every so often.
